This is now my fourth (yes, I know) cooler from Pelican, and I couldn’t be more pleased with Pelican products. I have a 50 qt, 30 qt, and 9qt shoulder cooler and this one is the perfect size for a picnic, a day trip, or a kayak/paddle board cruise. The ice retention is great, and I would definitely recommend the ice packs.

Amazing cooler compact well design the only thing that I would really love to see was a handle on the top where it sips together with the bottom part I think that will help improve a lot If that ever happen I don’t think I would like to see like a really bulky handle on top of there but definitely something where you can stick your hand in grab the whole thing And unzip it Well done pelican not like Yeti LOL

I got the 45 because I wanted the Wheels attached. Although I have had many pelican cases I have never had a Pelican cooler before. My expectations were met and then some!! It is a little heavier than what I expected, but the quality and durability make up for it. Plus, who cares when it has wheels! This is a cooler that will never have to be replaced! This won't be my last Pelican cooler!

This case is large, you can tell it is strong, and it looks cool! This website has great deals and fills orders fast! I recommend Elite Cooler and the Ruck 60 case. BTW - I have read reviews that the case is not waterproof - I disagree and feel those poor individuals must have gotten defect cases. I bought 2 two pound reusable ice packs and I have been very happy with them!!! In fact I just unloaded my cooler and they had refrozen my ice at the bottom!!! These things are totally worth it...and you use half the ice you normally would use!!!

I wish that I would have bought the smaller basket. It does not fit with the divider. With that said, I chose not to use the divider on the maiden cooler voyage and I don't know why I have never bought a basket in the past. Love it!!

Bought this cooler to replace my 32 year old flip top coleman cooler. This is an obvious upgrade and frankly a long time coming for us. I got this for use when I need to take drinks to a party, tailgate, or road trip. I also bought 2 RTIC icepacks (small) so I could stop using ice and have the obligatory after-use clean-up.

The Pelican 14 is so awesome! The handle is very sturdy. I work for the railroad and a few guys I work with have these. They hold up very well to being thrown around on locomotives and keep things cold for a long time. I like the compartment on the top and also the tray inside to store things other than food sometimes. Good R@D on this one Pelican!
