Continued quality from Pelican that works as advertised. Currently using the 250qt hard cooler for my archery elk hunt. Air temps during the daytime have been between 89-92° F. So as long as you keep the cooler in a shaded area, it will hold the ice. Has been excellent to keep my perishable goods cold while remote, and hopefully to be able to get a quartered-out elk on ice immediately after a successful hunt. Thanks Pelican Team

Customer Service was excellent. Packaging for transport was poor and delivered not remotely intact. Surprisingly, ice chest was unscathed. Color was as pictured. Received all my accessories. As a 71+y.o. female I could carry the 50 size ice chest without difficulty. However, with all the accessories it was not manageable for me so will load it empty in car and then accessories and pack it. I love the divider/cutting board it does the job. But $30 for a small cutting board with angeled sides is a bit steep. I would like to see future 20Q coolers be designed with a drain plug which would make get the water out easier. Thanks, Craig

The clasp on the pelican cooler has always been a worry of mine. It seemed to get in the way as you dropped the cooler lid( also an issue with kids and honestly adults at time) I will say the originals held up longer than expected. I’m guessing 8yrs. I think Uv damage was a factor also. The new ones looked wonderful, fit great and we’re easy to install. Looking forward to 8 more years

The cooler is gorgeous and the perfect size for just me. It keeps stuff cold with a 4lb synthetic ice block for 2 days even while opening numerous times. Just pre cool and put cold stuff in it with the brick! The included basket is awesome. The downsides are - the dry storage top isn't deep enough to hold my wallet or car keys.. The cooler is super lightweight and very easy to carry around. It is great for bringing to small hikes or a quick trip to the beach. The outside shell is water resistant plus the clean up and maintenance is super easy. Recommend getting the 1lbs ice block with it.

Not worth the cost. This cooler might be great for a leisurely day at the beach but when you're working and trying to be efficient it's a waste of time. It's nearly impossible to open OR close it with one hand and that's a deal breaker for me. Wish I hasn't spent the money.

This is a pretty large cooler. It's great quality, but a LOT heavier than anticipated. And loaded with drinks and ice, it's a beast. I bought it for camping, and it did well as both a cooler and a table. But it's a beast. I probably should've bought the 30Q, but I always go bigger. lol The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, though, is it didn't keep the ice as long as I thought. Especially for as well-insulated as it is, I expected longer ice retention. Glad I bought it, though.

I’ve had this old 45 quart ice chest for many years . It’s been in the bed of my work pickups from the start . Heavy duty ! Just recently I’ve had to replace lid o ring and drain and now latches. I’m glad you support your ice chest. It’s worth it . I live in Oklahoma panhandle. It goes every where I go . I wish you guys had some pelican stickers to display on toolbox on truck.

Great cooler & fast shipping! Arrived just days before a 3day camping trip. Held ice the whole trip plus 3 days left in the shed when we returned. It’s a little larger and heavier than expected and my ocd is going off with the decals stuck on crooked, but will be great for our camping needs. I would definitely purchase again!

It’s a very nice cooler. The only reason I don’t “love it” is because it shipped with the gasket wrinkled/folded in 3 corners and doesn’t provide a seamless seal because of a decent gap as seen in the picture. I am not sure if that is done intentionally, but it looks like the gasket was cut too short. Moved across country, packed this thing full of the contents of our meat freezer and ice.
