I had already purchased a beautiful padded Barnes Tack Room bridle and saddle so, of course, I wanted to complete the set and buy the stretch relief girth for him as well. It is a comfy, well-made, and sturdy girth! My daughter's saddle never slips back anymore, even riding in the rain/snow. I LOVE this saddle! My horse has a very short back and I have long legs so I needed something with a short seat but large flaps, Thankfully basically everything on this saddle is customizable!! I was able to get the french pannels (upswept) and a 17.5 seat. The flaps are the biggest option so it fits my leg wonderfully! I got my saddle in Buffalo leather and I am OBSESSED. 😍😍 I 100% recommend this saddle!

The design of this girth has helped relieve the claustrophobic tension she was feeling from a regular hunter girth. Giving her extra stretch panels and the SOFTEST sheep skin inserts made such a huge difference for her! It also has quality elastic that is firm so it doesn’t over stretch. My wallet loved that I was able to custom order a bigger size without having to pay more! Thrilled with this purchase!

I have owned this saddle for almost a year now and I love it! My horse is on the rounder side and does not have great withers, but the wide saddle fits her really well. The leather is extremely supple and I love the quality of it. Robert Barnes was extremely helpful and their customer service is phenomenal. I felt very involved with the creation of the saddle from the beginning which made it such a unique experience. I would recommend this brand to anyone!

This saddle is hands down the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden in! Not only do I love it, we were able to achieve a great fit on a hard-to-fit pony, so my pony loves it, too! So this girth is great! My mare seems to love it, which is saying a lot! The only reason it didn’t receive all the stars is it does limit how far I can move my leg forward while keeping my leg on. Maybe better without the sheepskin on the side panels? I’ll have to play with the leather ones and see if that makes a difference. But it’s really all about my horse’s comfort anyway, right?? Whatever makes Jane happy! 🥰
