I live in NYC. I got both my Thaely's within 5 DAYS of placing my order!!! I wasn't expecting them to arrive for another 3 weeks! The Thaely's themselves are super comfortable. I am someone who is picky about comfort since I have wide and flat feet, but these have just enough platform and cushioning! I am size 10 in US Womens, so I ordered a 9 which was not the move bc they are a bit too big. So do NOT size up! I really love these shoes!!! :D Great sustainable idea and materials combined with a slick and fresh style :) Only thing that could be better in the future is that the sides feel really stiff in the beginning and that could become annoying. Or they eventually get softer, let's see... Otherwise awesome shoes! Keep on going guys ;)

Thank you for this great project. I viewed a Youtube-Movie about recycling ideas worldwide where I learned about thaely shoes. I really loved the concept. It took me seconds to order my first pair. A glimpse later i recieved them and the fitted and looked like sneakers do. Maybe a week of walking them is a little too early. I love the shoes! Love the company story too. Only problem: the shoes shipped from India and were left out in the rain on delivery. When I got my shoes, they were soaking wet. They dried and were fine haha.

I saw these shoes on Tik Tok and wanted to support such an innovative idea for making plastic waste practical. I purchased my normal size and the run a bit big, however, I put on some socks and wore them and they have great support. I will wear them in and based on that purchase another pair. Great innovation!

Hard to believe these are made from recycled plastics, they are of excellent quality, feel nice to the feet and are now my favourite pair. Will buy again soon! I did follow the advice of someone posting earlier mentioning to buy one size larger than your normal size, which I did and hence they were a perfect fit, because these are indeed smaller sizes.

The fitting is quite small - half a size off I would say. It is really comfortable, but the quarter is very stiff (just the feel, not the wear). The outsole is super soft, hope it can stay in its form and shape for a while now? The lining material is super crinkly at the heel / shaft - I don't feel it when wearing it, but the look is quite unprofessional I would say. The upper and outside looks great though :)

Order a half size bigger in Men's foot. It is good advice. If you have wide toes, get a shoe spreader, it will force the plastic to stretch. let it cycle 2 days on a heat vent to soften the plastic. After it cools, 10 minutes, it will hold the new shape of your foot.

Excellent concept and execution. Good shoe. Needs to come in wide sizes. EEE extra extra wide fits me (9 EEE) and a bunch of my USA friends. The biodegradable box is a nice touch. Wish I could figure out a way to get plastic from USA to you economically. Maybe a USA factory? A lot of people here like to recycle. They would love knowing those irritating bags were going directly to something good.
