32 degrees trout stacked up on the bottom. Let the bone diamond sink to the bottom and jerk. Wait for the thump and set the hook. Caught my limit of threr in 10 minutes. Bite was on for two hours and caught 30 trout. Over 20 were keepers. CPR (catch photo release). Awesome soft plastic. One bait held up to 30 trout. Now that is tough! Flomingo (pink with silver glitter) was just as good!

I have known about waterloo, raj, for a long time. My friend that i've fished with most of my life bought one recently and he let me try it and I liked it. So I received my new rod yesterday and I put a new diawa salt water reel on it, And then put some monofilimant backing. After that, I will put on my braided line.

I absolutely love my Slam Mag! I use it for fishing in the backcountry in the Florida Keys as well as the canals for peacock bass. Everything from the construction to the design, it’s a work of art. I can cast dang near to the moon with this thing! Gave it 5 stars because they wouldn’t let me give it 10

Absolutely key for any wade fishing trip. Not only the low profile spool for carrying ease but also the plastic “keep” on each spool for line management so it doesn’t come unraveled in your pocket, pouch, etc. The monofilament wrapped on each spool is quality leader material that you can tie quick and get yourself back in the game. Highly recommended along with a good pair of snips

The only ones we use fishing guard in Port O’Connor. I have them in Bay boats and Air Boats run through a year not broke one yet this year what we have left over each year we donate to our younger kids to keep using them. I know the brand of Waterloo.! get your ride today you’ll never regret it!

Can’t wait to put my new Salinity Baitcaster to the test this Sunday! This is my 5th Waterloo rod & I will be a lifelong customer! This is my 3rd Salinity rod. I went with the blue in the 7’ medium-heavy moderate action. I also have a tide series casting rod and a Phantom spinning rod. Love them all!

This party paddle was awesome in catching reds and speckle trout. Even when the paddle tail was ripped off. It continued to catch fish. Best lure that I’ve used in a very long time.

There sits my carbon mag under my 13 fishing TXZ. The most versatile rod I own. I can throw light soft plastics or change it up and chunk some heavier spoons or wake baits. The rod simply just works and works well. I’m about to have a spinning rod made in the same setup.

Waterloo always has the best of the best outfitter wear for fishing and hunting! I wear Waterloo on a daily basis being a full time Captain and sometimes you need a nice dressy shirt. And the GG Waterloo shirt is perfect on a date night.

Great rod! 40lb+ black drum dove under boat. Thought the rod would break but it held up. In 60+ years of fishing, I have never seen a rod take that kind of abuse without breaking. A friend was so impressed that he ordered two and I ordered another one. Have had no problem fighting 40+ inch reds and 40+ pound blacks with this rod. I own at least 15 different Waterloo rods. Starting from when you were making scrap rods.

This is my second and third carbon mag I love it very sensitive tip to feel those soft trout baits and a great backbone to horse in reds. I will be buying one more for wading. It is my do all rod and the best rod on the market

These trout like these baits so much they often take both Plum Nasty and The Truth Double D baits down the hatch head first! They love both of these colors more than anything I’ve ever used for speckled trout.

Awesome rod! Great blank and components...plenty of backbone to get em' in the net too. As a kayak anlger we can be brutal on equipment and the HP Slam Mag holds up to the punishment! Great all around rod that can handle an assortment of different lures from tops to Corkies!

This belt is perfect for any angler that wants to jump out of the boat. It is built very well and being able to adjust the D-rings is a huge plus. The hook in the front really prevents the belt from sliding down the waist so it makes the back pad fit perfect. I put the 7'0" Tide Series in action in Myrtle Grove, Louisiana yesterday. Used dead shrimp for a redfish limit biggest being 25 inches. Also caught six trout in the 14-15" range. They only have to be 13" in Louisiana and 15 trout limit. This rod is light and strong. I have ordered a HP Slam 6'6" cork split grip back in October through Chags Fish and Archery and still waiting for it. I'm hoping to get it soon. 7'0" Waterloo Tide Series baitcasting.

I am a charter captain for 10 years in West Central Florida for the last 4 years I had my clients using Shimano Terramar XX rods and now I have purchased a Waterloo rod to try out for my charter business and I am here to tell you I am about to add them to my fleet and get rid of my 300 dollar rods that I have been using the last 4 year and move to these rods by far the best rod I have put in my hand.

This rod is tough enough for throwing popping corks with live shrimp or croaker. It will even get you by with some bottom fishing as well. I’ve pulled in several over slot reds and it handled them better than any rod I’ve ever used. If you’re looking for a rod that’s going to give you confidence against big bruisers, this is it.

If I could only choose one of the many great Waterloo rods for an all around lure rod it would be the Slam Mag! I do anything from catching trophy trout to sight casting fat reds on the flats. This rod will do it all!

Plenty of power to wrench them in. The SV spool packs the line capacity of a 150 size spool into a 100 size reel! Corrosion resistant bearings and 15lbs of drag will handle all you throw at it! Great reel for lighter jigheads too with the T-wing allowing the line to pass thru without friction when casting!

Salty mag is one of my favorites and is one of the best rods on the market and I will buy another. The tip is sensitive and you feel the smallest bites but also has the backbone for muscling in red 10/10

Absolutely a fantastic all around rod. Light enough to throw 1/8th ounce jig heads/soft plastics and strong enough to throw a corkie. If I had to choose only one rod, the Ultra Mag would be it. Extremely sensitive to the point where you can feel subtle trout bites in the winter or the bottom surface you’re lure is working off of.

As a full time fishing guide in Galveston Bay since 1995 until moved to the Mississippi coast last year, always using artificial lures only, I know the importance of quality equipment that is properly maintained, especially casting reels. I've been on Lews pro staff for 10 years and max out my purchases from them every year, but since I maintain my reels they last a very long time. Reel Wash works great as I spray the exterior of the reels, and then wipe down.

This is the most comfortable belt I have ever worn for wading. Set it and for get it. Easy on/off. The angle of the buckle really gives extra comfort. You don’t have to set it super tight and it’ll hold all your gear up.

The best entry level rod you’re gonna find on the market. My clients have been using these rods for about a year now and they have put them through their paces. Winning battles against large drum or reds with novice anglers hasn’t been an issue. If you’re looking for a great rod but don’t have the funds to step into a higher tier rod, then this is the one for you.

The Salty Mag has been a workhorse for me for sure. From the 6'9" casting rod sightcasting redfish to the 7'0" spinning rod as my popping cork set up they are lightweight, sensitive, and strong!

Caught this big girl on using voodoo shrimp 2 inch chartreuse variety under a 4horsemen cork. Tide series 7ft med heavy moderate and shimano slx dc. In all honesty the tide series is the lightest of all the models and I own 2 salinity rods.

My go to rod, very light and sensitive with a strong back bone! I paired it with a Shimano Vanford 3000. I have caught many fish including a Texas Grand Slam and the biggest fish to date, a 36" black drum (pictured).

The HP Slam is my go-to for fast twitching plastics like the Coastal Brew Dart, Down South Big Smooth, and Southern Salt Hoodwink. Super sensitive and plenty of backbone to boot! You can't go wrong with the HP Slam! 6'9" Casting

My go-to rod for larger topwaters and Corky's. Lots of backbone to boot as well! Landed a 38" Jack recently no problem and handles those overslot reds with ease.

The HP Slam is by far the best plastic rod I've ever fished. You can feel everything with it, and it still has good back bone for when you hook into those larger fish. P.S. this rod is also a great topwater rod if you like to throw a topwater.

When these trout are not hitting that TOPWATER this when this DD brings out the magic!!! The Crown is my go to and they hammer this lure so hang on TIGHT!!
