I’ve ordered the dark chocolate popcorn as a gift before and it was a 5 STAR!! This time, the popcorn was ‘stale and seemed soggy.’ The package only sat on my door step for less than 5 min. It was hot, and they did pack it with an ice pack, but the package definitely must have been exposed to heat prior to delivery because it was stuck together and tasted very stale. I emailed customer service, but didn’t receive a reply.

I used to order these all the time, any time of year too (even in the summer heat with standard shipping!). They used to be packaged with each chocolate in an individual paper and then tightly packed into a very sturdy cardboard box, so they would hold their shape even if softened in delivery. Evidently this is no longer the case as they now come set loosely a cheap plastic form within a flimsy box that easily bulges and does not hold its form. This allows for the softened chocolates to fall out...

I hadn't had Kron truffles for years. I was telling friends about them and checked online to find I could order them online. $85 for a pound of truffles and the photo below shows how they were delivered. All melted and mushy! Packed badly with very little insulation, they were virtually ruined. I immediately emailed Kron to tell them but have yet to have a response. I am a very unhappy customer and won't be returning. When I was 20ish, I worked on 83rd street across street from the original Kron's. I heard much about it and saw many limos picking up orders. I couldn't afford any then. So I thought to try it now.
