The strap on top (since I have a smaller dog) enables me to assist her in getting up from the laying down position—which is a bonus!

Paxley my Silver 4 month old Labrador Retriever got the harness in Purple that was personalized and a reflective leash. The leash handle has a great soft grip. The quality of the harness is great.
