It is large and it's a heavy plastic type canvas that has wrinkles in it so that you have to try to flatten them out prior to placing in a frame, would suggest laying in the sun to soften the material then keeping flat inside as it cools in an attempt to lose the wrinkles. It's nice and clear, just wrinkled when rolled for shipping. I'd order another if I needed it but with knowing to expect the wrinkles this time.

The mat is gorgeous with my 4 different dogs on it, I have it hanging at the door and visitors get a laugh as they hear my dogs and know it’s true. I was a little disappointed as I thought the mat was going to be thicker to place outside the door to wipe your feet, but it’s more of an indoor mat which defeats the purpose, so I ended up hanging it instead of using it as a mat. Still happy with my purchase though.
