I’m traditionally a Moleskin user but thought I’d give something new a try. I appreciate the weight of the paper and the way ink doesn’t bleed through but beyond that I’m mostly underwhelmed. No elastic loop closure, no availability of a grid or dot option, and the fabric cover just doesn’t do it for me. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the product, it just doesn’t wow me.

I was pretty happy with my first four notebooks in 2020. The books did not check all of my boxes for a great journal (Not as many pages as I like to have, the pages are not numbered for easy indexing, and the dot spacing of .25" is a bit too large) But the pros were that it is spiral bound, which is very hard to find, and the spiral was a very good quality, the paper cover is very thick and sturdy, and the paper is good and thick so that ghosting and bleeding is rare, even with fountain pens, an...

Overall, this new design is not as sturdy as the old design. I probably will not be buying this particular product again... ...unless you go back to the drawing board. I prefer the stiffer outside covers on the old design. Thanks
