The basenji girls enjoyed many hours chewing on one bone each. Kept them busy while we were busy cleaning up after Hurricane Milton. I wrote to Eric about keeping the bones safe after all of the marrow was gone. His suggestion of peanut butter or pumpkin stuffing and freeze them is a great idea. They have two original sets more to enjoy. I bought one large to go with the 5 medium size to get a triple serving for each dog!

Smokey really loves the beef liver. My concern was how sharp the pieces are when it gets broken apart. So I ground it up really good and mixed it in with his dog food and of course he was lacking the bowel for any small pieces left behind. It is a good way for me to get his dog food all eaten up. Our sweet Bella loved her smoked marrow bones. I wish I had thought to take a picture of her with one before she devoured them. I was skeptical about giving her a bone even though they say they don’t splinter. I do supervise her when chewing & I will say there were no splinters. My dogs love the smoked marrow bones. My only complaint is that they can break off the ends of the bones while they are chewing on them. When the dogs get the bone to this point, I have to cut off the ends (using a saw) so that they can continue to chew on the bones without cracking off the thinner outer areas. Besides that, the bones are a "hit" with our three labradors. They keep their teeth nice and clean too!
