I have 3 bulldogs who shred and inhale everything I have bought from petsmart. Several times pet store items have splintered or broken and caused a lot of trouble and expensive vet bills. Our poms are small so I would take the braids apart and give them each a braid ( great that they can easily can be separated) and they would sit and enjoy them as a nice treat in the morning or the evening.
