Well, he liked it. The bone marrow was very hard and he couldn’t get it out. I had to use a steel tube to push it out further each time he got to the end of the marrow sticking out. We did purchase three of them and I still have one left, the first one he hid and I can’t find it so I’m not sure if he was able to get the bone marrow out or eat the little flesh that was on it. We haven’t tried the yak yet as he’s already got one from a different company Will give it to him next.

Savannah is totally loving the experience of chewing non- stop on this bone. She is a 10 1/2 year old Great Dane mix. The only problem is that her interest waned a bit once she got all the marrow out that she could reach with her tongue. So my husband decided to cut it in half so she could get the rest. Now that the Barrie is gone, I think k she is enjoying just the exercise of chewing on it. One half is wrapped in parchment paper in the fridge while she chews on the other half.
