Went very well, looks great and functions as it should. Mixing instruction on the fiberglass hardener wasn’t clear, but after a quick phone it call made sense. I would update the instructions on how to best use it in those 2 steps. Overall I’m extremely happy. A couple hundred bucks over a $8,000 replacement makes it a great investment. I think this is the toughest part of the tub now. If there was enough I’d do the whole tub bottom.

The kit resulted in a very solid smooth repair. Matching the resin color was challenging. My tub is not as white as gloss white but adding grey or gold white did not make the match better. Both were the wrong tone. The video instructions for matching the color are also puzzling because the video demonstrates spreading resin on a very visible section of a tub but doesn’t mention how to remove the resin afterwards. The repair is very effective but a brighter white than the tub.

Worked very well. Better than I hoped! A huge hole in back of the shower was essentially invisible when done. Instructional video was very helpful. Only caveat is that the spray on paint wouldn’t consistently come out of sprayer and needed significantly more thinning than the video called for despite careful measurement and mixing on my part. Thankfully I was able to troubleshoot and having the second sprayer given in the kit allowed me to apply the more thinned epoxy without much difficulty.

The repair went very well. I was fixing about a 9 to 12” crack in a walk in shower. I had enough spray foam and glass putty. Unfortunately, I saw the YouTube video about a 12 inch crack in a tub bottom after I have purchased the kit; otherwise I would have also purchased a second jar of finishing putty. While you need to have some level of pre-existing knowledge with using tools and doing around-the-house handiwork, you certainly don't need to be an expert to follow the thorough instructions. The spray can didn’t have clear enough instructions to keep the bottle upright. I thought it was saying it needed to be between 90• and 45• in order to spray- so I was titling it sideways up and down hoping that would work and ended up spilling paint everywhere. The repair was goi g fine till I got to the painting part and realized the threads on the air can were cracked so I couldn’t tighten the paint jar but so much before the crack would open and drop the jar. Well about the third coat the jar drops off and spills most of my premixed paint on the tub and floor of my bathroom. My finish coat isn’t as uniformed as I’d like it to be but the repair is holding.

While I believe the repairs can be done rather quickly, I erred on the side of caution and did my repair over several days. If you take the days repair approach be sure to watch the video again and continue to refer to each step before returning to work so you don't miss a step! Would highly recommend this product.
