We had a great experience with the Floor Crack Repair Kit. Our first interaction was via website chat to make sure the kit would work on a Polystyrene Tub, which it does as long as you're careful with the acetone. The kit shipped quickly. We had plenty of supplies. The directions were great, but I supplemented by watching videos on their YouTube channel prior to starting. As you can see in the photos, it went very well. I spoke and texted with Clayton reference my project along with the company videos. The repair went better than expected. There was a superficial attempt to repair the crack that was removed during sanding. Drilling the holes is rather straightforward and in my case, it was easy to feel where the drill was at in terms of depth. The foam definitely stiffened up the tub. It helps to have good lighting setup so you can see what you’re doing, particularly when it comes to the finishing stages. They make color matching rather easy. The product was excellent and the tutorial videos made doing the repair very easy and the colour matched perfectly. The only thing I would say could be improved would be the dilution amount on the instructions for the spray paint. I needed way more thinner for the spray canister to even work. Thank goodness there is a product like this! Kind of a pain I had to order it from the US (in US dollars) and then on top of that it was nearly $100 CAD to get it across the border. Only 2 problems. The gloves are way too small and spraying the tub floor is a total pain. I ended up using a 1” new clean nylon brush to smooth the rest of my paint on my tub. Worked fantastic. Surprisingly easy to use, I was more than happy with the kit to patch the crack in my bathtub. But, what is more important than just the product itself, which is completely reliant on the users ability to install, is the fantastic customer support. The product is great. My teenage son fell and put his foot through the side, so it was a big hole. It was tough sanding with the hole being close to both curves. I ended up doing it mostly by hand.
