The repair went better than expected. There was a superficial attempt to repair the crack that was removed during sanding. Drilling the holes is rather straightforward and in my case, it was easy to feel where the drill was at in terms of depth. The foam definitely stiffened up the tub. The product was excellent and the tutorial videos made doing the repair very easy and the colour matched perfectly. The only thing I would say could be improved would be the dilution amount on the instructions for the spray paint. I needed way more thinner for the spray canister to even work. Thank goodness there is a product like this! Kind of a pain I had to order it from the US (in US dollars) and then on top of that it was nearly $100 CAD to get it across the border. It was pretty straightforward. I didn’t realize I was supposed to mix the hardener into both of the solutions— understood it to be just the top coat. Can’t remember if that was my error or if it should have been laid out more clearly in the directions. So after 12 hours, when the first layer wasn’t hard, I realized where I’d gone wrong. Stripped, remixed, reapplied, then everything went as expected.

I could not get the color to match perfectly. It is closer than what the photo shows, but not exact. You should state in the instructions that the filter on the spray tube should be removed. I had to send an email and ask that question. Otherwise, all went very well. Your instructions and the video were very clear and helpful. I hope I never have another damaged tub wall, but if I do, I will certainly use your product.

The kit worked amazingly! With a tile surround I didn’t want to rip the tub out and replace it and the tile, so after looking at more products than I can remember, I decided on this one. I couldn’t be more happy. Results could’ve been even better if my skill was better, but no one looking at the tub would ever know there were 4, three to five inch cracks in it before the repair. Absolutely recommend this repair kit to anyone not wanting to take on the cost and work involved in replacing a tub!
