A tip I used for the denim buttons so the logo will be sitting in correct place while hammering - is to taping cello tape on each side of dome on table/board and it will stay in place while inserting in. Perfect every time.

I have been thinking of getting my own sewing labels for a long time but didn't quite know where to start. I came across the custom labels on the website and got creating. Simple instructions (although I did need additional help) included the label size, how to create them in Canva etc.
I noted down the colour numbers or identifiers and emailed a proof over.

I’ve been using this calendar as a reward system for myself for doing chores I’ve been avoiding instead of using it like an advent calendar, so I’ve opened about 7 so far. It’s been great as a reward system for cleaning out drawers and reorganizing things. I LOVE this calendar. The labels are fun and I appreciate that most of the days have multiple labels and the last one I opened had 6 teeny little ones.

This glue stick is wonderful. I had stroke last year which affected my right side and it has made my sewing a lot easier. Not only do I love it to place my labels but I also use it to put seams together (as showing in the video) Putting seams together with pins is extremely difficult and painful for me. The shape is really good for me to hold too. It’s much better than a pencil shape. The glue washes out well too. Thanks Kylie

Love this pattern! It was fun to make and I learned such a lot. I used a jeans needle to sew around the main fabric darts on the front to the back, as I used really heavy fusible interfacing and a thick main fabric. The Mule Tote is my new favourite. The flat felled seams make the finish so tidy and a new skill unlocked. Easy to follow pattern and it can be modified to many ways. I have added two long thin ties to the inside of the top fold, along the sides, to keep my goods tucked inside. The standard size is a great bag for work and shopping for lunch boxes etc. Folds up nicely too.
