I was disappointed because I ordered 4 packs and when I opened the first one there was only I ball…the other was in crumbles. I checked the other 3 packs and only 1 had 2 balls. As much as they cost I expected an intact product I wish there was better packaging to avoid breaking them apart. That being said, the flavor is great. My family really enjoyed the tacos.

Tried these for the first time with a little over 3lbs of chuck roast using one bomb and 4 cups water. I let it slow cook around 12 hours on 190 temp because we like the meat to fall apart. Super fast and no need to brown the chuck first. I love the simplicity! I tasted the broth and it was good. Definitely the easiest way to cook Birria. I followed the instructions on the first batch and it was lacking a little in flavor but still good. My second batch I used two bomz and it was fantastic! These were exactly as stated in the tic toc videos. Only suggestions I have: 1. I used 3.5 cups of water and flavor was way more concentrated and made it way better than the recommended 4 cups. 2. Save your liquid and make ramen noodles with it!

At first I was skeptical if these would make tasty birria. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!! My first attempt was with the Insta pot, and it came out pretty good. I ordered more bombs a for a family birthday party I was hosting. This time I had to use the stove top method because of the amount of meat I was cooking. This method turned out terrific!!! The stove top method is way more flavorful than the Insta pot. I think it’s because you have to boil the meat and spices for at least 3 to 4 hours....

It was a little salty for me, I made 4.5 sounds and used 5 cups of water, and I still think it was a little salty however the husband and kid didn't think so (and I'm the one who likes salt). I made this using the slow cooker technique with beef stock instead of water and a few bay leaves. Absolutely delicious. The spice and heat were perfect. Have to get my corn tortilla griddling technique down but wow soooo satisfying. I gave this a try after I moved far from a local taqueria spot....needless to say I think these were better and it wasn't because of me lol. Don't second guess these they are perfect.
