Let's face it: I got a cheap mattress. I'm renting, I figured I wouldn't be in a King Single for long enough that a cheap $250 mattress from Bunnings could ruin my back sleeping on it. Have been using the mattress topper for a few weeks now. It does compress slightly from use of a fitted sheet, bit is still very soft. The size is generous and it has deep walls to fit deep mattresses. Happy with the purchase and so is Leo!

My caravan mattress was so hard and uncomfortable, I stayed at my sisters house one night and slept in her bed and I thought I was sleeping on a cloud or water bed .
