I originally had a pair of Koss porta-pros and when they broke I decided to buy these instead! I love how the ear pads are smaller and don’t constantly rub against my earrings to make them sore. While I still experience my hair getting caught in them I love the way they look, sound and how they are thicker and smaller than the porta-pro pads. I’ve only had them for 2 days and have received many compliments :)

Honestly for the price I don't think I could recommend this enough. Affordable, beautiful vintage design. Fits light on the ears, and the fact it's a RETROSPEKT collab is so great since you get to feel unique. Also comes with fun stickers in the box. Sound quality is better than you'd expect. Sure there's some bleed, but that's true for any light-fit on ear headphones. These have a great soundstage and balanced sound. Great sound and great value from a respected audio company. WOW!! Obviously, if you are into this sort of thing, they look great. But, they do sound quite good too. Surprisingly balanced sound, which is what I prefer. You do miss sone sub- bass, but what are you expecting from these things? And if you listen to older music, and listen to cassettes recorded from records, there isn't much sub- bass anyway. So for the money, they are WELL worth the purchase. Soon, I will be buying another pair or 2, just to have them in case my first pair breaks or somethin...

Super comfortable and great sound for the price. Didn’t notice to much bleed as I don’t need to play my stuff too loud. My ears are very sensitive and I wear glasses everyday so I was looking for something adjustable that wouldn’t irritate my ears. So far I’m happy.

A classic band enhanced with some Porta Pro drivers for more bass, and some cool purple pads from Yaxi. Really softens the extreme highs of Game Boy chiptunes. The headbands build quality is top notch and super lightweight on your head. Will buy again.

These headphones look so cool and the sound is great! I don't have the volume too high up since I like to hear my surroundings but I imagine it can bleed a bit. Love that I can wear my earrings with them too :)

These things are awesome. The sound quality is good. The look is great. My only complaint is that I forgot that corded headphones can be ripped off easily if you forget that they are there. I say this because yes, I have ripped these out of my phone and tossed them several yards on at least two occasions. Take away the learning curve though, and these things rock.

love them the sound quality is great and they’re so cute and adjustable ! some of the parts came off occasionally but was able to reattach them. also people can definitely hear your music if you’re playing at any sort of regular volume but i also have bad hearing and these are my first pair of overhead headphones so maybe that’s normal idk. repurchasing only bc i actually broke them they r not insanely sturdy if you’re used to roughing your stuff around like me!

These are great and so is the price. They’re better than the in ear headphones that came w my iPhone w the added benefit of being able to plug it into my computer (adapter necessary to plug into phone but I find this less annoying idk). I really like these headphones! They are super light and open. Really comfy for working out, walking or jogging. Great to be able to hear through. The sound is mostly good, but they can get a bit crunchy sounding on some tracks or if the volume is high. Thanks for making these, there aren’t many decent, light, open headphones any more!

These bring back the essence of personal music. Nothing fancy, just pure, beautiful sound all for yourself, while at the same time telling those around you that you're on your "me time" with those bright orange ear pads. Chuck 'em anywhere if you don't need them, put them on when you do. Time will tell how long they'll last, but for now, they give immediate satisfaction despite being a blast from the past.

I’m no audio audio expert but have passion for audio equipment and music. I currently own several different headphones from Grado, Hifiman, Sennheiser and Koss to name a few. All the Koss headphones I own have a wonderful sound, with their own sound signature to them. Between the KPH30i, Porta Pro and Kph40 these sound more neutral to me. Closest to the Kph40 not quite as open sounding. Bass and Treble are great but the vocals sound really good to me. Another great addition to the Koss lineup....

They are my backpack headphones and I think the rigid metal band really makes me confident that they'll not break in my bag when I am moving around.
