This container sits on the counter by the stove. I use it to empty grease out of my pans. It is much better than down the drain which can clog the sink or damage the aeration system. The people that check the aeration system told me I should stop pouring grease down the drain. This product is perfect for containing grease. The lid keeps the kitchen from smelling. It's so easy. Just close the insert when full and throw in the trash.

I purchased the "Fat Trapper" to use in our RV. I loved it! It didn't take me long to go back after another one for our home. Still loving it. Like the fat trapper but it tends to smell after a day or so. t would be wasteful to throw out bag with very little in bag. Do you make sented bags to keep the odor down.

I am happy with the concept of the fat trapper, but in my opinion it should not be made of plastic because plastic absorbs the odors of the liquid put in it.
