Bought a few of these with the hopes of never having to use it. Unfortunately, I had to use it today for a fire that started on my stove when I added oil to a Dutch oven that got too hot. Flames were shooting up everywhere. I grabbed the blanket, which I kept next to the stove in a cabinet, and threw it over the pot. It immediately contained the fire. With 2 teenage girls that cook for themselves frequently and at odd times, this product is a no-brainer especially after watching the video and thinking of the various pots and tea kettles they have ruined from forgetting to turn stove off. I ordered 3 in a sale special deal and now have peace of mind after teaching them about fires and safety. Hopefully, we never take the blanket out but I certainly feel better knowing we have it in an emergency.

I ordered quite a few of the blankets for my children and step children since they are all out living on their own and have a family of their own. I thought it was a great Christmas gift. Plus the kids thought it was a great Christmas gift. Be prepared and then nothing will happen sort of thing. But also have some relieve if something does happen you have the blanket.
