Memory of Mum Fantails remind me of my mother as she was always a bit nervous when one flew in the house. Superstitious.. But I love them so it was the memory I chose to remind me of my Mum who recently passed away.

Piwakawaka I bought this bird for a friend's 70th birthday as she is a great gardener and lives with lots of beauty around her. It turned out that she already had one of your metal birds, but not a fantail so I did give her something different. Both she and I thought it was absolutely beautiful and I am looking forward to seeing where she puts it in her garden.
