It is a very beautiful dresser. The drawers slide pretty good. The cane quality is excellent. Yet….I do want to let people know that I haven’t been able to sleep in my room for two weeks already because it smells so bad. I hope it’s off-gassing and will pass eventually. And I understand VOCs can take 2 to 5 years even with out smell - so if you’re chemically sensitive I would really steer away from this. Aesthetically perfect and we love the piece. The operation of the drawers is just a bit off as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Everything works fine, they just get stuck and don't operate as smoothly as they should given the expense of the piece. It does, however, look beautiful.

This review is two parts…one, the dresser itself is gorgeous in person. However, the drawers do not slide open or shut easily. Any of them. Don’t know if it’s just the one we got or a problem with all. It’s extremely aggravating. Also, we ordered this from Burke Decor in May 2021.
