The lamp is beautiful, and the light it gives is enhanced by the reflective glow of the silvery base. It is a real plus in the room. I am very happy to have it. That said, I do have one complaint. The lamp was shipped in two boxes, with the shade sent separately. The shade was fixed inside its box with a plastic rod which was then stapled to the packaging.
