This is a functional, attractive ipad or thin cookbook stand. I'm also using in my office to keep my iphone upright during calls, and various other uses etc. My opinion is this brass stand is worth the price because the item is not only unique but well made (we're paying for design of the stand, and the skilled artists and craftsmen need to be paid).

Bought it for my sister. Can't wait to give it to her. Very pretty and well crafted.
