The carafe looks very pretty, but there are two issues with it: 1. The round wooden ball that serves a stopper is very rough. It should be polished to a nice smoothness. Meanwhile the tactile experience is pure roughness. In also I ordered the other glass water carafe from Burke which I am still waiting for that has the flattened wooden stopper. I love this carafe. I have it on my night stand so I can drink water as soon as I wake up. It isn't just functional, it is also decorative and looks pretty.
