I knew the rug was thin, not plush, but didn't expect it to be so light-weight that the corners would not lay down after 8 days on the floor. In fact, they are so prominent I have tripped on the rug twice. So, yes, I'll be laying stacks of books on it ... what I'd expect in a rug from a big box store. I'm disappointed.
