I like the simplicity of this and can definitely feel a difference in my balance and foot health.

Exactly the tool I was looking for to work on heel mobility. It makes an immediate difference.

I was skeptical when my physical therapist brought this little tool out as part of my rehab for a serious ankle injury, but it really works. There are numerous ways to use it (just look online). I’m using it in 3 ways: 1) to regain balance (propioception), 2) to improve foot and ankle mobility and 3) to address post injury weakness that is causing excessive pronation (which causes both inflammation and pain). This is different from and more specific to the foot than other tools to help improve...

My trainer uses the Blackboard in our gym sessions. I’m a competitive ballroom dancer and I love how this helps build ankle flexibility and strength. So, I’ve bought my own to use at home too.

I encountered the BlackBoard for the first time at physical therapy. Couldn't find it at any US online retailer (I think it's originally from Germany?) except this site! Was very glad to not have to pay international shipping and the product came quickly, was in great condition, and was exactly like what I have at PT. Very happy with it.

As a personal trainer, I am always looking for better ways to lift and continue along my own journey that I can also bring to my clients. I started my time working on my feet with the opening rush of the barefoot era as a runner. Since I have developed the strength and dexterity in my feet and currently wear bearfoot shoes daily, whether in the gym or out on the town I am moving with comfortable feet and a happy feeling that I can feel the surroundings through my feet!

Definitely much more difficult than other balance devices. BUT very expensive for what it’s made from. A handy person could make one for $20
