@ Kenneth R I just saw your review. I bought the 1000-16 model and I agree that the instructions on bed leveling are a bit vague. Basically, you auto-level first and that gives you the mesh values. It looks at the lowest value and the highest value and if the difference is too big then it will register as a "fail" because it is outside of the range for the auto-level to compensate during a print. I split up the assembly over three days, and it came together very well. It is a BIG printer. Initial test prints have come out good. I replaced the four metal bed clips with eight printed retainers using a stl file provided by tronxy. Since the change the bed has been solid with no ability to shift in the X or Y direction. Perfect solution, finaly the printer works like i would like. The new mainboard works great, the printer makes less noice, and the not quite flat printing surface is very quikly adjusted and prints like a charme! Thanks Tronxy!

I am loving this machine. It has had very little rest since it arrived. It arrived the day after I ordered it, and was very well packed. The quality of the prints have been excellent, and I am really loving the large print volume. As it is a kit, there is some assembly required. This is where I did deviate slightly from the build instructions. I am an engineer, and so I added some 2020 corner brackets to add stability. Conforms to order. Well packed and protected material. The editing went well, even if some steps are not very clear on paper: Use the video which is well done and useful for some steps. Please note: A miscalibration of the print head distance sensor. I had to reposition it manually. Use: My first printer, so no point of comparison with other printers. I use CURA for slicing. I use PETG and a 0.4 nozzle Good build quality on medium and large parts. Less good on small objects of less than 2cm3.

The quality of the aluminium tube is good, but the stepper motor could be stronger.

It's a straight install, simple and plug and play. Would help if you guys mentioned on a flyer something how high or low we should actually install it but, other than that, works like a charm. Well wrapped in with air bubble foil. All in all, nicee, i'll see more in the next days. But finally, i can use my glass bed with PEI sheet on it.

The right angle brackets supplied are not a 90 degree angle. This causes the Z axis to bind.

The feeder stepper motor is not strong enough. I used the Courtesy clay right out of the bag on the day it got delivered, but motor keeps missing steps. I made the clay a lot more liquid, but it only works with about 200grams of it in the tube. More than that and it's just not Strong enough to push the clay through the pipe. I ordered a much bigger stepper and driver and hopefully I'll have better results

Nice little 3d printer. Directly usable out of the box. Prints fast. I tried printing PETG (ESUN) and found the best settings are 275c nozzle with 80c bed temperatures, with 5,5mm retraction and 0,1mm z-hop, all for best adherence and to minimize stringing. TPU (Overture) printed also ok, 220c nozzle. I have no experience with PLA. However a small inconvenience as the fillament expires the tension on the fillament sensor gets quite high, and possibly hinders smooth fillament input. See photo. A...

The kit was very plug and play for my X5SA, this direct drive system improved the overall print quality and helped with some retraction issues. I have not tested with flexible filaments yet.
