Not plug and play. The version of firmware on the pad isn't compatible with the TFT firmware for the printer specific update files. Once you use these updates you can't use the OG interface and printer in isolation from the pad. The v1.2 needs imaging with a Rasberry Pi imager to update the Pad you can't just download it. You need to use a 32GB SDcard. It can work but it's awkward and long route. Not as advertised.
