Henry review of PrimaValue™ ABS - 1.75mm 1KG image 1 out of 1

Overall, a pretty decent ABS filament. I previously mainly used Polymaker's Polylite ABS, so that's what I'll be comparing this with. This filament is quite a bit cheaper. It seems to be a lot more ductile and softer than Polylite ABS. The surface finish and print quality is on par with good layer adhesion. However it doesn't seem to stick as well to PEI and it seems to want to warp and shrink bit more, even though I'm printing in a 60C heated chamber. I'd say it's pretty good value for money, ...

After having a couple of bad experiences with Technology outlet black last year (particles causing blockages and poor colour saturation) I decided to try again. This batch was fine. The ABS appears to be unadulterated meaning it prints well and has a good finish. It does however need all the shrinkage precautions for ABS.
