Printing Carbon Fiber Nylon Footplates on a Qidi X-Plus. The ruby nozzle has good conductivity being brass, while the ruby allows for abrasive filaments as is the Carbon Fiber Nylon. More than happy with this nozzle, though admittedly they are not as cheap as a hardened steel nozzle I think they work better and may last longer.

Brass 0.6mm and brass 0.4mm ruby jeweled nozzles. Nozzles designed for abrasive filaments but not necessarily for high temperature printing. The PTFE tube within the nozzle would normally restrict printing temperatures to 240 degrees C. The use of Capricorn XS PTFE may allow a bit higher. I chose to manufacture a Stainless Steel Collet to replace the PTFE allowing me to print up to 300 degrees C. The intention to print Carbon Fiber impregnated Nylon.
