It is a 25 foot pole with a light attached to the pole that has a light sensor so that it will come on and off. We have had numerous flags (3x5's) that have lasted for only 3-4 months before the color faded and they got tattered. The mount received is actually beefier than the one shown. The mounting flange runs the entire height and there are extra supports welded between the mounting flange and the tube. I was pleasantly surprised when it was received.

The flag was exactly what I expected, the flag was made with great quailty, and the print was flawless. The flag flew for 48 miles to it's destination at my brother-in-laws. Then it was takin down and given to him for his service in Vietnam. We had a small family parade and recognition for him and his fallen brothers in arms that they deserved when they came home.
