One of the best experiences I have had with ordering frozen dumplings (plus the sauces)! So easy to order and came so quickly!! Truthfully, some of the best marketing I have seen in awhile!! They really put so much time and effort into making sure they present and deliver the best product/experience for their customers. The chili crunch wasn’t spicy or had any heat at all, and I don’t even eat spicy things. Momofuku chili crunch is way better. The ginger scallions also did not have any taste. It was bland blob. I still put a bunch on my dumpling, bc I wanted to love it. :) The black vinegar is nice and went well with the dumplings. All in all, I’d skip this sauce trio.

We lived in Shanghai, which is the soup dumpling capital, for over a year. We love having these xiaolongbao and shenjiangbao style at home. It makes us feel like we are back in China and is our go to comfort food.

The sauce was frozen solid when I received the package. i let it thaw in the fridge over night. Not sure if that had an effect on the flavor? It was still tasty but it was more gingery than what I expected.
