I absolutely loved this book, and Phera coming into her own. The ending was so majestic. Also Lessie is such a good friend (that’s a ride or die best friend right there). And though Isak barely spoke he was such a gentle giant. The world building was awesome, I would love to know more about the academy of mages. Like following a character going to school there. I cannot wait for the next book in 2025, I wonder if we’ll get a glimpse of Phera and Rhyme in it. P.S: I wished Rhyme had more POVs bu...

Wow, wow, wow! Okay, I was immediately hooked from the beginning of the story and all the way through I was very invested; I was dying to know what was going to happen next! I loved the world building, the magic system, and the romance in this standalone and if you’re looking for a swoony romance fantasy novel with magic, action, adventure, and mystery, definitely check out this book for sure! Also, this special edition hardback is super gorgeous! So shiny, and so were the artprints and book m...

“Phera, you should know, I want you to stay.” Thank you to Angela J Ford for my complimentary ARC of Mage Bride in exchange for an honest review. This was my first book by this author and now I can’t wait to read all of her work! Mage Bride is a short (~200 pages) book that packs all the punch of a lengthier fantasy novel. This book is smart, enjoyable, and clearly a great start to Ford’s series of standalones. It has a ton to offer in addition to feel-good romance—intriguing mystery, solid...

ARC Review of Mage Bride by Angela J. Ford, releasing June 11th. I received a free ARC copy of this book for an honest review. “She’s a powerful mage. He’s a hardened warrior. It will take them both to slay a monster.” Tropes include: Arranged/forced marriage Murder mystery Slow burn romance Water magic Viking vibes I was immediately captivated by this story. The FMC is imprisoned with her magic subdued. She is given a choice between going to the dungeons or going to an ice clan and being m...

Ford packs action, magic, and mystery into the short fantasy romance read! I was gripped from the first page. Phera and Rhyme's story felt as if they were recounting it to me as I sat around the fire with them. I loved the arranged marriage aspect of the book and the slow burn romance that bloomed between the characters. Fans of Elise Kova's Married to Magic series will love this! 3.5 stars ✨ Thank you Angela for the eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review 🩷

I loved this book. I was not expecting the story to go where it went, but it feels like Phera And Rhyme did the work of being honest with each other and trusting each other. Phera also learned to trust herself and her abilities more as well. I loved the character growth and world-building. I am secretly hoping for Lessie's story as well. Lessie was the ultimate best friend, I was glad she also seemed to find happiness . I’m such an enemy to lover fan🤎💙

Mage Bride is a captivating read from start to finish. The combination of thrilling battles, beautiful closed-door romance scenes, and a well-thought-out plot makes it hard to put down. Angela’s skillful writing ensures that the story’s pace enhances rather than detracts from its depth.

The connection between Phera and Rhyme was undeniable, even though it didn't happen instantly. As they locked eyes across the room, the author skillfully portrayed the intensity of their gaze, almost as if you could see the misty morning reflected in their eyes. I thoroughly enjoyed Mage Bride, a captivating story that seamlessly weaves together a gradual blossoming romance and an exhilarating journey. In the depths of darkness, a sinister presence looms, and two mages named Phera and Lessie fin...

Caitlyn A. review of Elegy of Twilight image 1 out of 1

Elegy of Twilight was one of those stories that started off really well, interesting, and captivating, but then the lack of close editing and slightly off story telling distracted me from the thrilling mystery this book was all about! There are priestesses, vampires, mention of giants, and magic! Secrets and lies, slight spice, and fantastical love bonds! I really would have loved this story more if it was as good as the other Tower Knights Tales, but unfortunately this tale was my least favorit...

Song of the Dawn was an unexpected favorite of mine from the Tower Knights collection. It starts off slow but with a hint of mystery, and very “girl wants to help the family but follow her dreams at the same time” type of vibe. When Mila meets Ezra she has no idea what kind of adventure she will have, and because she takes a chance on herself she experiences major character development and personal growth! It’s Bridgerton meets Jane Austin meets Dark Fairy Tale! The spice grows until it explodes...

WOW, WOW, WOW. Was honestly not expecting such SPICE! I now have a second favorite Tower Knights Tale book! Lured By The Dusk is the spicy, dark romance, fantasy story I have been wishing for! Music of the Night is still my all time dark romance fantasy favorite, but this story (which is connected to Music of the Night in a cool and unique way) had a lot more spicy-slow burn scenes that I really enjoyed! If you like Beauty and the Beast mixed with The Pied Piper mixed with Dracula then this terr...

This tale was a mixture of tales. If you adore Beauty and the Beast like I do or the tale of Persephone and Hades with a hint of Snow White, then you will ADORE and LOVE this magical tale filled with dark and mysterious secrets, a slow burn romance between Enemies to Friends to Lovers, and SPICE! Celeste and Zekiel’s love gives me so much excitement (in many ways😏) and the magical setting is so intriguing!! I will give a bit of a hint…this Tower Knights Tale is linked to the others written by An...

The boxing was so fun to open & look at all the goodies one by one. Once I got the items out the book 📖 is just so beautiful 💕! Loved the prints, sticker and bookmark. The candle smells amazing! Only downside is that it didn’t come with a lid. Besides that everything else I am loving 🥰. Thank you so much Angela & for helping me out!! 💕🌸

I loved this box bundle! The book is beautiful in and out of the book jacket! The gold on the pages add such a touch of decadence to the look and really go with the magical them of the book. The black mug and candle are cute and I love the bookmakers and art pieces that came with! I could not put the book down, it was dramatic, whimsical, full of quotables and even made me sigh. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this book. It was short and sweet and had twists and turns that made Lucia doubt herself and what she thought she knew. I also liked the little twist on how vampires came to be. I cannot wait to read Slyvester’s story.
