The logs are incredible beautiful!!! However, it wasn’t as bright as I wanted so I added orange LED lights with more lava rocks to the floor of the fireplace. Then I added two flame light bulbs, one on each side behind front logs. Then I added a black board behind the logs on the rear fireplace wall to bring out the flames. We were VERY impressed with the delivery and the way the fireplace pieces were packaged. They arrived separately securely packaged with then all the pieces professionally wrapped together on a wooden pallet. The fireplace was fairly easy to get in place. I didn't read carefully and had to order the plug kit later. Just to be safe, we had an electrician attach it. The fireplace is exactly what we wanted.

Even though it's summertime in South Carolina we have it on everyday for the ambiance. When we watch TV at night, we love the glow. If you can't have a real fire, this is the next best thing . You can use or not use the heat element.

Measurements were perfect, getting it set up is not hard if you go slowly and carefully. My only wish is that I could direct the heat vents downward a little. When I sit in front of the fire I don't get much heat because it goes out and up before it gets to me. Other than that, it's fantastic. I've had more "fires" in the last two months than in the 5 years before.

First of all, the picture doesn't do it justice. This looks really great in person. It is very relaxing watching the way the flames move. With the remote, you can change the color of the crystals along the bottom, change the flames shown, as well as their height. My favorite combo is red crystals with yellow flames. Feel warm and cozy. I'm very happy with this.

I needed about 1 inch more than the 4 inch trim so I used the extra trim piece that came with the 4 inch trim kit. Just laid it under the trim and it looks great. The flames are awesome and it looks like sparks in the flames sometimes. I have not used the heat yet because it is still warm weather, but tested it and the blower is very quiet.
