Both my sister and I have purchased the compact tyre seating tool which was put into action when the tyre needed to be changed after a puncture. Compact design takes up the same space in my jersey pocket as the 2 hip locks I carry. It's brilliant for putting the tyre back on when your fingers are frozen after suffering a puncture during the winter in Scotland.

This bundle was bought specifically for a Schwalbe tyre on a Fulcrum rim. This combo is the hardest I've ever had to get on or off. Firstly, the levers. I've snapped a few levers trying to get this tyre off so these levers felt strong and I had no concern whether they were going to do the job, which they did. Last week three of us cycled the Lon Las Cymru, the length of Wales, from Cardiff to Holyhead. We were on gravel bikes with 35-40mm tyres. We each had at least one puncture (one of us had 4!) All these tyres were quite hard to get on and off and the others were amazed at how efficiently the compact tyre seating tool reseated the tyres. I think you may be getting two new customers.

I bought this tool after having a torrid time of it getting a 32mm tyre back onto a tubeless ready rim following a puncture. The bike was new, so I had not yet had the ' pleasure' of reseating a tyre on it. Though I have not used the Cycle Pal Compact tool in anger on the roadside, I have tried it out in the comfort of my kitchen and found it worked well on both the tyre that had suffered the puncture so had already been stretched a little and the rear wheel tyre that not been off at all before....

I was extremely skeptical that this little bit of metal would help with my brake rub issues, but figured it was cheap enough that it was worth a punt. The mechanic I’d usually go to is on his Christmas break, and I want to ride my bike. Amazingly, after a couple of minutes with this little tool my brakes are no longer rubbing. It’s super simple, but does its job to perfection. This is going to be an essential tool in my home workshop. Very surprised!

Used for first time to put on a new Conti. Gatorskin tyre, took a moment or two to get used to it, but tyre popped on easily---at my age my hands and thumbs are not as strong as they used to be so this is such a simple tool to use. It is a little long for carrying on your average road bike but I understand a smaller version is being worked on !!

I hesitated to buy this as I thought it might just be a gimmicky tool that doesn't really do the job. But my fears were unfounded and I'm certainly delighted I took the plunge. It makes the job of getting the tyre back on so much easier and quicker and completely eliminates the risk of puncturing the inner tube when doing so. My girlfriend often struggles to get her tyre back on after fixing a puncture as she doesn't have the strength in her fingers but with this she found it an absolute breeze....

Was more than a little cynical as had a pair of 700 x 23 Gatorskins that I could just not get on a particular pair of rims. Always managed to get tyres on in the past but had already ruined one tube and ordered the tool out of frustration. Tool worked a treat by just creeping the tyre on bit by bit without the blistered thumbs. Handy for back pocket too as will need that if ever puncture out on the road.

Really good design and well made. I've always prided myself on being able to get tyres back on by hand but I've struggled more recently, particularly with Brompton tyres. Tyres must be getting tighter because it can't possibly be me getting old..... Works a treat on most tyres but I've still struggled with some stupidly tight Schwalbe 27.5/650b gravel tyres. So I think the answer is to get the compact version and use to two together. Then I'll be able to take the compact with me.

I bought two of these tools. One for my 74 year old friend who has broken both thumbs through the years biking, skiing, volleyball and boxing. Pushing a tire onto the rim of his wheel is troublesome. This tool will help. Second, I gave my older bike to my 12 year old grandson. The tires are horrifically hard to clinch onto the rims. I bought him the tool so that he can remain self sufficient should he need to change out a flat tube. I'm optimistic on both.

I needed to use this the first time I took it out. Very easy to use. Does exactly what the video suggests. I can get most tyres on but Gatorskins and GP2000s are really tough.it dealt with these no problem. Thumbs of steel not required! If I'm being picky, it's a bit bulky

A tough & well made & well thought out tool. Not heavy, but a bit large for on the road, where kit space is often at a premium, but a great workshop tool. Great for fitting new tyres that haven't yet 'relaxed' enough for conventional tyre levers. Saved a few thumbs, knuckles and gritted teeth already. Excellent gift for bike techies.

I got a new pair of wheels and, blimey, did I have trouble getting the tyres on (Schwalbe Duranos) with thumbs and then levers. I then came across this product and promptly purchased one. I popped some different tyres on (Vittoria Zaffiro Pro) and still struggled until I got this unit out and, Bob's your uncle, on they went, no bother. Great bit of kit!

A very useful tool. I thought it might struggle with tubeless mountain bike tyres but I’ve put both a 27.5” and a 29er tyre on no problem. This tool is perfect for getting that last little bit of the tyre over the rim and saves a great deal of hand strain and sore fingers. Well worth the money.
