Love Plutopoli for Fairisle projects. The hat was quick to work up (Drops design) and working on a vest next. This creates a lofty lightweight fabric that is warm, yet breathes. Fillory had great selection (apparently discontinued?) just sorry I didn't get green. But there are so many great yarns....time to shop!

I’m making the Cozy Classic Raglan by Jessie Mae Designs using a hand-dyed yarn I had in my stash and am holding it together with Malabrigo Mohair. I am using the color Talisman for all of the ribbings. For the rest of the body and sleeves I’ll be using Arco Iris which is lighter as you can see in the photo. It’s my first time using this mohair silk blend and it’s very soft and the color variegation is beautiful.

I’m in love with Pascuali Mohair Bliss, it’s as soft as Shibui Silk Mohair that I adore. I’m currently knitting the Marieke sweater by Along with Anna and this brown goes really well with my silky yak undyed yarn. The softness of this combo is outstanding.

Previously I have only used 2 circs. This worked great. The cable material has the just the right combination of body and give.

I read another review elsewhere while shopping that recommended getting the ruler set to go with it and I have to strongly agree. I was so surprised I didn’t need to rinse the sweater after using the wool wash. That made the whole washing process so much easier. I blocked the sweater after and found the sweater to be a lot softer when it dried. I used to use my conditioner, but I’ll definitely be using this wool wash from now on!

I was so tired of my sticky notes falling off the patter and this clever row counter is much better than all my pencil check marks. I’m using the variegated for the top of the sweater and will use the variegated, green and off white in stripes for the bottom of the sweater. The yarn is like butter to work with.

These little fish bobbins are super! I am a tapestry weaver and use a plastic bobbin (Sally Bates) that is no longer made. They crack/break over time and I was running out of them.
These Pony brand bobbins are as good as, or better!!
The price is right, the colors are cheery and fun, and I think they will last longer than the Sally Bates bobbins.

When I saw this wrap as a Fillory free pattern Friday, I immediately downloaded it. Checking my yarn stash, I realized I only had two skeins of Yak Bliss but the pattern required a third. I had purchased the two last fall and was doubtful I could find another of the same dye lot. I phoned Fillory and was delighted to learn the last remaining skein of the color Fern was the dye lot I needed. The purchased was easily made on line and mailed to me.
