I’m very impressed with the look, quality and function of the windshield as I was a little hesitant to run one since I hadn’t seen one on a Dyna in person. I also held off on this review until I put some significant miles on to make sure it wasn’t just all ascetics. I definitely would recommend this to my fellow riders out there that are looking for an alternative to what is traditionally being used.

Ordered the fly screen one day, it arrived the next and it took literally 15 minutes to fit. Quality is great and it looks a million dollars on the bike. Riding on the motorway is now a whole lot easier.

Looks great, fit perfectly and was easy to install. The quality of the screen is very high, it feels very solid. I dropped my bike a bit and it scratched the side slightly but the screen didn't crack or suffer any seriously noticeable damage.

I added 2 small Kevlar pads to protect the paint on the headlight brackets where the fly screen brackets bear down. I considered using Sugru instead, but the Kevlar pads were quicker and easier to install. If the fly screen brackets came with rubber coating at those points, this would have been unnecessary.

Great screen, fitted to my R nine T Racer. Only issue I found was that the mounting points need to be adapted for the Racer but this was no failing on the part of Dart, as the Racer is usually faired, a bike specific screen was not available (just something to consider if you're thinking of something similar) . Overall excellent product and service.

Ordered the screen on the Australian Dart Website and had to wait 3 weeks to be delivered to Australia from the UK. Thought it would be held in stock in Australia, however this is apparently not the case. That said, the screen fitted exactly as it was supposed to in under 10 minutes and looks just how I hoped it would on my bike. Quality of windscreen and mountain brackets exceeded expectations. Mounting brackets fit the forks nicely without any adjustments needed. Highly recommended to anyone that wants a windscreen for a Forty Eight that is not able to use the usual head fairing.

I bought my 2016 Triumph Speedmaster brand new but I was disappointed with how I felt at just 110 kmph with the wind after having ridden many Hondas and Kawasakis at greater speeds than this. After easily fitting the Dart Marlin flyscreen, I was amazed out how much better the riding is at motorway speeds. And it looks great, too. I wish I had bought it 18 months ago! Best buy ever.

I wanted a small screen which primarily took away the blandness of the front of the bike and may be offer a little wind tunnelling effect away from my body, which this seems to do quite nicely. I wanted one which complimented the color of my bike also and I think the dark tint works well. It took 7 minutes to fit with no hassle what so ever, all that was need was a 12 mm socket and an hex key, that was it. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I bought the Dart Marlin flyscreen in the dark tint for my Scout. I think it really looks good on the Scout, the curve of it just goes so well with the bike. You can see through the dark tint in the daylight , I have not rode at night with it yet. The clamps that attach to the forks have rubber that make it not scratch and help them stay put on the forks. 2018 FXBB. So easy to install. It cuts just enough wind (and bugs) to make it feel like I’m not “hanging” from the ape-hangers anymore. Would be great if you offer larger screens as well that I could swap out when doing longer rides.

Great screen. I'm a bit tall so under 60 get a bit of buffeting mid helmet, but above that it just gets real quite. It's made the ride more comfortable, virtually no wind buffeting, no upper body pressure, I'm so chuffed and everyone says it looks mint. Don't suppose you do an extension it'd only need a slight rise to tip the flow over my head...but...fluid dynamics can be a bit of a head scratcher.....great job

After a false start managed to fit really easy, bit missing on the instructions was fit the brackets to bike then the screen to the brackets, might just be my interpretation of the instructions, but easily worked out. As I had not taken delivery of the bike till I fitted the screen I cannot comment on if the air flow is better, however it does seem to direct it to the right place. very fast shipping, very nice packaging! ... the piranha is spectacular and easy to assemble, it is really bas*ard on my 48!!! .. and I did not have to remove my rough craft grid ... I would have liked it to be a little more bent on the edge, wrapping the instrumentation a bit more like on harley V-rod ... maybe I give this idea for the next Darty model!

It made such a difference. I can loosen my grip on my handlebars and not feel threatened of being blown off my bike on the freeway. Excellent quality and workmanship. Took me 1/2 hr to put it on my 2005 sporster custom. Perfect!

The DART Marlin compliments my 110 Anniversary Bonneville nicely. It is Winter here in New Zealand and the flyscreen reduces cold wind blast to the chest. Postage was slow but worth the wait. Great product. Jon57 NZ

Perfect fits, fast transport. I ride in an open face helmet I am 173 cm tall. At a speed over the 120 km/h I have to sit more uprightly :-) , that the wind does not come on my chin.

The difference in riding comfort is quite extraordinary for such a small screen, I have the CB1100EX 2016 model in black with wire wheels, the midnight tint works perfectly, it looks like it was factory fitted. The quality of materials is superb and it only took minutes to fit. Ordered Monday received on Wednesday morning in the UK. Well done Dart.

Very easy to fit and provides that little bit of wind protection when travelling a distance at motorway speeds. Quality of the components seem good and the clamping system to the fork tube allows for a fair degree of height adjustment if needed.

This flyscreen/windscreen works very well on the Ducati Scrambler Icon, it has been shielding me from a both flying objects and wind. It also adds nicely to the look of the bike! This is the medium screen, not clear nor black, a nice transparent smoke color. So glad to have something that fits the bike right out of the box!

I was looking for some wind defection because I ride about 20 miles to work on the freeway and the wind was beating me up. I didn't want to compromise the style of my 883 Iron so I started doing research. I found dart to be the best function and style for what I needed. When I bought my CB it already had a clear Dart fly screen on it, and because of the look I was looking for (blackout) I changed it for a midnight Marlin, which then I changed for a fairing. As this review attests, I went back to the Dart. The fit and finish is impeccable, mounts solid, and gives my bike the look that made me fall in love with bikes back in the 70's. If only I would've know about Piranha...

1st class customer service from dart, arrived day after ordering,excellent packaging,top quality materials used in manufacturing this product, easy to assemble, very ridged once fitted very minimal vibration at 70 mph, bear in this is fitted to a Harley-Davidson streetbob,still get buffeting around helmet but expected that due to size of screen, does reduce wind pressure off chest and arms though, very happy with this product dark tint classic.
