This is my third pair of the ballet skimmers in black. I also own them in navy blue, beige, & pink. They are my favorite shoes ever! Someone stops me to comment on how cute my shoes are every time I wear them! (BTW—bring back the pink; I need to replace those too!)

I have a rather long story! In 2006, I bought my first pair of “Conversation Shoes” at Apropro’s Faneuil Hall kiosk in Boston. I wore those shoes everywhere! These shoes are even cuter on and in person. The material is very all season, and the fit is perfect—soft and comfortable. These go great with jeans of all colors, which, these days, wearing every day! Also work well with black or white pants, as well as all shades of blue, pink wardrobe shades. For the most part, they are everyday casual, but pretty enough to dress up, too. I’ve been a customer since the early days apropos set up shop at Faneuil Hall, and these are my 8th pair.

I loved the first pair so much, I immediately ordered a second! I have nothing but praise for these adorable shoes made locally in Massachusetts. It's hard to find a "transitional" shoe for fall and these fit the bill. They are comfortable, unique, and have just the right amount of heel for me as I cannot wear flats comfortably any more. I ordered my usual size 8 but found I needed an 8 1/2 as my right foot is a bit bigger than my left. I admit that I am already thinking about a third pair. Love...

Like walking on clouds! This is my second pair of Apropos shoes and I intend on getting more. I am a school counselor and am on my feet a lot! The colors and designs of these shoes makes it fun for the kids and possible for me to wear all day! Butterflies were my grandma’s favorite so these are for her. I've lost count of how many Apropos shoes I've owned. I'm so happy that you brought back the blue. It's my 4th blue pair , in addition to black, tan, etc. I am a retired teacher who spent my whole life on my feet! They now are paying me back for mistreatment! As a part time employee of a museum store, I'm back on my feet again. I wore my new pair (with high toe box, thank you) right out of the package. I wore them all day at work, and my feet felt great! These are my all-time favorite pair of shoes. This is at least the second pair I’ve ordered from Apropo of this style. I have multiple pairs of Apropos shoes: red velvet, black velvet , brown velvet, multiple summer & winter colors, etc. They are so so so very comfortable and feel very supportive when doing a lot of walking. They are washable and seem to last forever! The company is so very accommodating and I would recommend Apropos shoes heartily!!!!

I'm really enjoying these shoes. They're flexible and were comfortable as soon as I put them on my feet. The breathable fabric is soft and my feet didn't become hot or sweaty as they have with other shoes I've worn, including expensive leather shoes. This is my second pair and I feel like it won't be my last.

I’ve bought this same fabric before….it goes everywhere. I think this is my fourth or fifth pair. They are very comfortable for my narrow but bunioned feet and so easy to slip on and off as I come and go.

For a couple of decades now, I guess, I've worn your shoes whenever I don't need socks, spring through fall, for every occasion! I always have a black pair for dress up, and added Black Tuxedo as an alternate "fancy" pair that was perfect for an outdoor wedding last spring. I’ve been buying these shoes since I discovered them on my daughter’s music trip to Boston in 2005. So, I can’t even count how many different patterns I’ve purchased and this Did not disappoint. I wear them for business casual, casual and even Zumba class (due to their flat bottom that slides easily, preventing knee injury). I love these shoes! Comfortable, beautiful and cool! I even use them in the winter wearing my alpaca socks, they still fit perfectly and keep my feet warm. My feet are narrow but the shoes hold very well. Soles are soft. I never wear ballerina style shoes because they give me leg and back pain, but the Apropos are the only ones that make me feel comfortable all day. Keep making them, we love them! MP

This is my first pair of sand-elles and I absolutely love them! My feet are narrow and they don't slide off the shoes when I walk, they fit just perfectly. At first it might seems like the shoes are tight, but after a couple of days using the shoes they kind of got the shape of my feet. I like the Black Seal because they match basically everything, I have used them almost everyday this summer!
