Three weeks ago, I installed this ionizer due to persistent, stubborn odors ranging from a lingering musty smell to a bad bilge funk. This actually works to get rid of boat odors. We had a moldy smell in our cabin that just wouldn't go away. I installed Airlock in about 15 minutes... just follow the instructions and it's super easy. The smell was gone in less than a week. Would highly recommend to anyone dealing with this issue. Would probably buy one for a friend too.

This was a very simple installation and the instructions couldn't be any better. The unit is sitting 3" from the intake of the main salon AC air handler and we hope it freshens the air a little more this summer. 1st advertisement for this product did not mention that it is used with an air conditioner. After I ordered it I received several emails saying how it was to be installed and that your boat needed air conditioning. It would have been if this was mentioned earlier.
