I use mine in my sewing room- I have used the radio, I have connected my iPod to aux and simply played stuff from my phone (audible, Pandora) through WiFi. The phone has to be fairly close though - within a few feet, or the connection will fade. The packaging was lots of fun too! Great presentation!!
