I tried selling the Maple Bacon old fashioned. The overwhelming response was “they can’t taste the bacon” or “it would be better with a maple flavored whiskey”. It did make it easier for us to make a standard old fashioned. I’ll give it one more shot as my drink menu is now live and I can’t back down now.

I e been bar tending for 18 yrs. So I was really excited about this maple bacon syrup for my old fashions but was really disappointed. I don’t smell or taste bacon at all. Maybe a bad batch? I would it buy this again.

It tastes good, but I'm not picking up any maple or bacon from the taste. Maybe I need to use more, but that just takes away from the whiskey. I tried using 1oz for 3oz of whiskey and I still didn't get the taste. Adds a nice flavor though!

I bought Maple Bacon, Pecan and Traditional. While all 3 make a decent cocktail, I can't really tell any difference in taste. The sweet taste and bitters standout, and apparently over power the target flavor. I have tried with a few different whiskeys and bourbons thinking something on that side of the equation was cancelling the flavors, but that's not the case the way I taste it. Usually Maple Bacon versions of anything have a hint of that flavor but I don't find it in this mix. I have mi...

I ordered the Maple Bacon but honestly feel it was packaged wrong and I received the regular. It made a good Old Fashioned, but no Maple or Bacon flavor at all. Myself and 4 friends all tried it and nobody tasted any of the ordered flavors. I bought it for a gathering and ended up disappointed.

Actually I was quite disappointed. I do not taste the bacon nor maple drinking straight or in an old fashion. Basically taste just like a normal old fashion like the bottle got mixed up with just regular proof.

Nice orange old fashioned flavor like some others I have purchased but no maple or bacon flavor . I had several people taste it and the lack of maple and bacon flavor was unanimous... disappointed!

Im a huge fan of the traditional syrup but a tad disappointed with maple bacon. We only taste maple in there, no hint of bacon whatsoever. It's not bad by any means, it just doesn't have any bacon flavoring to it.
