The syrup is a great time saver. I bought the Maple Bacon flavor and I don't taste either of those flavors in my Old Fashion. That said it does make a very acceptable drink. I cut the amount of Proof Syrup in half as I found it too sweet as suggested in recipe.

The flavors are balanced and it’s def saves a few steps from my typical homemade maple Old Fashioned...but where is the bacon??? It tastes like a regular Old Fashion. Is it possible the batches get mixed up? Again, it’s good, but I’m disappointed. I was really excited to try a Maple Bacon Old Fashioned.

I've had the Orange for a while and love how it tastes in a Mezcal Old Fashioned. Just received the Maple Bacon for Christmas and although the sweetness of the maple comes out nicely, I don't even get a hint of bacon. A little disappointing. If all I was expecting was maple, this would have received 5 stars.

It was really really really sweet and had none of the bitter flavor of citrus I expect in an old fashioned. I had to add extra bitters to make it not as sickly sweet.

With only 1/2 oz. of Proof and 2 ounces of bourbon I could hardly taste the proof. I increased the amount to over an oz. to finally get results. Just ok.
